Default Bulbs

Is it bad to change just the bulbs on my GS? just wondering because im too broke to afford the HID kit so i was wondering if changeing the bulb would hurt it like melt the wiring relay or something? So basically can i go cheap and just change the bulb without messing anything up.

PS haha sorry about the spelling its real late and im real tired.

"Would hard it" I dont know what you mean, but I'll take a guess. Its not hard to change the bulb. Twist and pull.

I think he ment hurt it. Jewel, although i know absolutely nothing about this matter, i'll tell you this. The stock bulbs in there are not bad, they are bright and during the night, the view is good. I personally bought silverstars which have some blue/white tint to it for 35$. They differ a lot from the fogs, thats sfor sure(yellow). I intend to one day change out my fogs too with silver stars.

Contrary to that, i would like to retire my silverstars and buy some xenons with proper wattage that are a little more blue but i hear they burn out fast.

As far as it goes for melting the relay with bulbs that are with high wattage, its not even worth the risk, you might as well go with HIDs because since you own a lexus and if it melts, ur in for it!!! n

Thumbs up

Get some silverstars theyre pretty decent and better than stock , also do a search on how to clean your lenses cause this is very helpful in getting more output from your lights
