Default offset help on 1st gen GS

with no help in the wheel tire forum im asking here instead.

im trying to help a friend out on the PERFECT offset on his wheels. he will be getting 19x8.5 and 19x10. we are unsure of the perfect offset for him. he wants to line up with his front and rear fenders. well he can have them tuck a lil if need be. but lined up is prefered. so can anyone help me out on number? o yeah he needs it to clear bbk as well.

i was thinking +36 fronts +42 rears.

Those will tuck in just a little - it's actually a nice fitment.

My brother's wheels are:
20x9 +37
20x10.5 +41
(these are on his '94 GS300)
You can actually run even MORE aggressive offsets than this with tire stretching and fender mods.

Yours will be inboard about 6mm (1/4") from his (front & rear).

The wheels I'm looking at are 18x8 and 18x9 with an +38 offset...of course I'm not looking for anything extremely agressive either....just a nice conservative look.
