I have a 1996 LS 400.

Last week the CD simply stopped working right in the middle of a song. The Radio and tape player work just fine. I checked the holder and the CD's but nothing seems out of place. The dealer couldn't, or wouldn't say what the error code was and suggested that the unit be replaced (without looking at it!)

Does anyone have a suggestion? And, if I want to replace it, can you point me in the right direction to find a suitable replacement?

It's old I guess but my plan is to keep it running for another ten years.

thread needs to be moved to LS but i get error sometimes especially if its a burned cd but i can hit next track and it will work so i dk thats on my 94 GS300 so.........sry couldnt help much
