Default 1993 GS300 - programming new key

Dealer says this is not possible, but then I have read that it is. I don't always trust the dealer as they just want to make money and sell you thier $350 key.

So, if it is possible, how do I do this? I tried the big long process for reprogramming, but it doesn't work. Remember, 1993 GS300

Wink

You can't just program it like an alarm remote. You must have the matching transmitter chip for that remote in the keyless brain. You can buy the (chip) from the dealer or get it from the car the remote came from.
