I would love to meet up with you guys, unfortunately, I work weekends and am only afforded Monday as my day off. But you guys get it together and post pics. It should be fun, if the high humidity goes away. Hot, hot, hot, lately.

 

hey guys, i just found a good place while goin fishing today, at the coralville dam, before you actually get to the fishing area, there's like a BIG wide open space taht would be perfect for a picture spot. Don't kno if any of you have seen it, but it'd be great to post up.

so pretty much ive been mia for a while now, but im back and ready for this meet to happen, so whens it goin down and where in coralville? i desperately need some good photos of my car taken with some other nice lexus' and cant wait to see some of the other cars around iowa!!! so lets get this thing rollin peoples!!!

 

I need to know the dates, I might not be able to make it, I need to take the LS in to have its brakes check, to at least figure out what is making it shake pretty bad when i apply the brake, I am pretty sure it is the rotors, or could it be something else

well once I figure out the culprit/s then I can work on it hopefully intime for the meet

 

HI Eveyone, It seems there is interest, but a lot more questions then answers. I think some decisions need to be made so people can mark their calendars and such. Feel free to comment:

When: Sunday,Sept 16, 2007 @ 10AM - ?
Where: Coralville, Iowa
What: Meetup at Coralridge Mall (Exit 240 off I80)
Mall Link
(Mall doesn't open until 11AM, so we'll have lots of room)
Then drive out to Coralville Dam or a park for photos.

It'd be nice to have an 'end' time, so our spouces know when they'll get picked up from the mall. Would 3PM work? If someone comes from Sioux City, that's 4.5 hours away and I'd think they would want to be home at a decent hour. Ideas?

I've never been to a meetup, so I don't know what else everyone wants to do, if anything. I'd like to get a group shot at the Dam...I think that'd be pretty cool, everyone standing by their car. Better bring my wide angle lens. (I had a photo business a while back so I can bring the equipment for that shot).

It'd be nice to get a head count too. I didn't see where I could start a poll or vote area on this site. Maybe everyone could either POST that you will come, or PM me and I'll keep you updated?

I assume we're still on, so I think it might be wise to pass on cell phone numbers before the 16th so we can contact each other if anything changes or we need to alter plans. If y'all agree, we can pass them on via PM vice for everyone to see in the thread...either way works for me.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'm also gonna try to get some other Lexus owners from CR to go if thats ok? But otherwise i'm there for sure and ill pm my cell as soon as i figure out how to...haha
