A friend and i went to jm lexus to get a price quote for his front and rear bumper repainted in 051 diamond white pearl and the guy told us $1,600 O_O i could only imagine how much a entire car would be painted for........... $$$$ and my neighbor got his quarter panel on his gold GS repaired by jm lexus on sample a couple months ago, it looks like it was never hit.

stealerships will charge you outrageous prices to do any painting, just go to a paint shop like maacco and all they need is your paint code and theyll be good to go.

dealerships dont do paint. they source it out to a third party and charge an upcharge. just find out who they use and go straight to thier body shop to save some money.

if youre looking for shop, i've used Hi Tech alot on my car. Wally, the owner there always does nice work for me. Wringo uses them also and introduced me on to them.

The day after i bought my car someone hit me. JM Lexus fixed my quarterpanel and door and painted it. It looks like it was never hit. They have their own body shop. They do charge alot but the other guy's insurance paid for it.

Maybe in Central Florida but in South Florida, the majority of the Dealerships down here have their own Bodyshops...

I used JM Lexus, and would honestly say that I think they are the best paint shop in Florida. Unbelievably good. A lot of the Benz people bring their cars there too.

I will not allow anyone else to work on my car.

JM Lexus has a superior process. They often remove the panel and bake the finish. This is what makes factory finishes more resilient than a normal paint shop finish.

The other thing to note is that Lexus paints are notoriously difficult to match. If they try to recreate Matador red with dupont paints, it will either be too expensive or not look right because of the very high metallic content of that paint. JM Lexus will have access to actual OEM paint at a low price.

Not a great experience at JM lexus on Sample for body work.

As for painter and paint work I do give the painter much credit for being able to match paint for a 10 year old car. Did an awesome job!!

much more with this experience. .but I'll keep it short..
