Default Tires:Dismount/Remount w/Ground Force Balance?

Anybody know of a great spot in the Orlando area to get this work done without worrying about techs damaging my 20" wheels in the process? What would be the estimated cost to get this done? Let me know if you have a reputable place with a decent price?

The best place I can think of D is the spot that did mine back like 6 months ago over on 50 and Hiawassee Road. They charged me I think it was 60 bucks for the whole thing.

They work on big rims there all the time.
I have 19's dude was saying he has done 24's.
Its a Discount Tire shop you can't miss it.
Its right next to a Rent a Wheel right down the block.

Just ask to speak to the Manager cause the front counter guy doesn't have a clue!

I'll be taking my car out there to get a new set of tires put on as soon as Tire Rack ships my order. My tires have been on backorder for about 2 weeks now. :/

Discount only charged you that price for a dismount and remount with wheel force balancing? I've been quoted $200-250 at two different places! That's cheap if they did it for that price? How was the balacing after the work?

The balance was fine from what I could tell.
In fact they fixed my wheel wobbling that I had as well.

My problem was camber which I have since corrected but otherwise the balance was perfect.
One thing I liked was that the dude took his time doing the work, no rush job. And with that he made sure he did not scratch my rim and placed cloths over it whenever possible.

Cpone, are you running a staggered set up? I may have to give them a try! I'm actually looking to rotate my tires from rim to rim on the front and back along with a road force balancing? If they could do this at that price that would be great!

Yeah I have a staggered setup.
8.5 up front 9.5 in back.

What do you mean road force balancing?
You mean just swapping tires from left to right side in the back and left to right side in the front, right? Of course keeping in mind the rotation of the tires. As in the inside of your left side tires are now the OUTSIDE of your RIGHT SIDE.

whats up wringo.. long time no talk. try using this link

http://www.tirerack.com/installer

you can enter your zip and find an installer/tire shop in the area and they post prices for mount/balance. after you find one with the road force machine you can see if they're listed here with the pricing.

I just wanted to make sure you were understanding me, since you got such a great deal! I'll have to check them out! The road force balancing is supposed to be a little better with the Hunter machine!
