I had a good experience with 2 places in Long Island:

County Tires
301 E. Montauk Hwy
Lindenhurst 11757

I brought my Vette there when I got my new rims. They let me hang out there and watch. My main concern was that they would get all scratched up. They had the proper mounting equipment and it came out fine.

Also, I recently brought my Lexus to STS on Montauk Hwy in Shirley. I dont have the address handy. Same level of service that I had at the other place.

I was very happy with both places. Im one of those annoying **** guys when it comes to my cars, and I walked away more than satisfied. If you decide to visit any of these places, shoot me a PM, and I'll give you the names of the people I dealt with.

if you know which tires you want, i usually go down to the junkyard by SHEA stadium and ask around for them. they are new and you can always bargain the price down a little and they do mount them for free.
