It depends on the use case, there are many police activities that an EV for now is just not well suited for.
Any argument about how the attention and positive press doesn’t matter is negated by the very point that they wrote an article about it

AJT123, time to move on from this back and forth. You've talked about your concerns (off topic for this thread), now back on topic or don't post. New info only, not beating the same horse

$10,000,000 in tax dollars. Many/most didn't even accumulate more than couple thousand miles.
About the damn Cybertruck if we can get back to it, what does everyone think about the wiper?
I think it would be better if it were down all the time instead of vertical? I like that it's only one wiper.
Well, LA tried it, though in no way were they replacements.... MASSIVE fail.

Ahhh, one thing... that wiper WILL soak bystanders lol. That's one of the reasons Mercedes quit the mono-blade, it works like magic but slings water all over the place.
Obviously, anytime you have a big windshield the water's gonna fly.
We had the Dustbuster Olds Silhouette with a gigantic windscreen, it flew water all over the place too. The wipers came up inside and out.
I really wish MB never stopped the Monoblade. It is so effective it's crazy. It is so fast in just one sweep that it's hard to follow. I'm not trying to hit pedestrians of course but who cars if it flings some water.
