It depends on the use case, there are many police activities that an EV for now is just not well suited for.

Any argument about how the attention and positive press doesn’t matter is negated by the very point that they wrote an article about it

I think it would be better if it were down all the time instead of vertical? I like that it's only one wiper.

Ahhh, one thing... that wiper WILL soak bystanders lol. That's one of the reasons Mercedes quit the mono-blade, it works like magic but slings water all over the place.

 

That wiper is insane! its like 5 feet long!

 

Imagine the upswing when it is just raining cats and dogs.... People are gonna get wet lol. It'll fly onto others' windshields.

Obviously, anytime you have a big windshield the water's gonna fly.

We had the Dustbuster Olds Silhouette with a gigantic windscreen, it flew water all over the place too. The wipers came up inside and out.

I really wish MB never stopped the Monoblade. It is so effective it's crazy. It is so fast in just one sweep that it's hard to follow. I'm not trying to hit pedestrians of course but who cars if it flings some water.

 

Yeah MB makes terrible wipers now...

I vaguely recall someone saying the wiper blade inflates with washer fluid and sprays not sure if this is true.

 

i saw munro/musk video and it showed the wiper doing a horrendously bad job of tryint o wipe light rain away (all kind of streaks and missed arc streams).

i just replaced the 'new' wipers on my ioniq with bosch icons. waaaaay better.

 

I wonder if you can get the Cyber truck wiper from Amazon. It would show up and my wife would say "what did you buy now?" 🤣
