I always wondered where Tesla got the idea for the design until today. So this is where it started. Lol.


Seriously though this is the only (expensive) vehicle that has not changed my view after this long.

Tesla released the "cheaper" Cybertruck. I am guessing this is suppose to be the 40k truck which is now 40k.

It's missing more features than I expected....imo no reason to get to get this with all the features that's missing. Might as well spend the extra 10k. If it's being used as a work truck I can see how this spec would make more sense.trim:

• No HEPA filter

• No air suspension (adaptive coil spring suspension)

• No rear light bar

• Standard bed with no tonneau cover included. Upgradeable to $750 soft tonneau (pictured below). This soft cover increases range to 363 miles (from 350)

• Textile seats (vs vegan leather on AWD trim)

• Headlights without signature lamps

• Standard bed lamps (vs premium lights on AWD)

• No L-track in bed

• No 2x 120V, 1x 240V outlets in the bed

• No 2x 120V outlets in the cabin

• No heated rear seats & no ventilated front seats

• Standard center console with no second row screen

• 7 speaker audio (vs 15 speakers on AWD trim)

• No active noise cancellation

• No mechanical front locking diff (due to only single motor)

• Lower 2,007 lbs payload (vs 2,500 on AWD trim)

• Lower 7,500 lbs towing capacity (vs 11k on AWD trim)

 

This aint it chief. If I wanted an cheap EV truck, Im looking at the new leaked Slate Ute or if Im willing to deal with a dollar store interior HEV the Maverick or upcoming Toyota Scout.

Now I can at least say I touched one. Lol
And, then I thought about how creepy I may have looked walking over to touch it. Haha 😃
