We have gone totally off topic. Worth it? You can hike for many miles in that area there are trails all over the place. Can hike for days to another destination if you want. Autumn is not the best time though bears are cranky trying to fatten up.

You can drink that water as is.

yes it's off topic, but i'm kinda enthusiastic about that special place.

ok, back to highland.

so what's the scoop about highland in the u.s., as in when? i assume not already because they have inventory of current 3/y to sell plus can't switch everything over quickly especially with ramping up cybertruck as well.

I find the Highland release very odd. Won't be in North America until next year most likely and the Y update may not show up for another year. Why so slow Tesla?

That area is actually too tourist-e there are some incredible places to go that has few people like Maligne lake.

Saw a youtube on my feed. I think the front lights look nice. Rear display is also nice if you have kids. Too bad they took away the stalks. I only test drove X and S and thought they were all stalk-less.

yes. maligne (and spirit island) is a long way from there, in jasper national park. oh and also very touristy with the boat rides.

emerald lake is less popular and stunning too. love peyto lake too.

It does but not many people go there it's not exactly opulence like the Banff Springs Hotel or Chateau Lake Louise. That area is rugged and wild I love it so much.

No need to bring them here while the old model is still selling. Plus, with the UAW strike, no need to risk downtime or issues that might slow production when the market is favorable to Tesla.

I was picking up a friend from Stanford Hospital around 11:30 this morning. I was flying up 280 at about 80 MPH when another Model 3 passed me with the camoflage covering the front and rear. He moved over to get off on Page Mill Road probably going to Tesla Engineering HQ or one of the many Tesla buildings there...
The back was really hidden; you see maybe 6 square inches of tail light. The front was covered but you could clearly make out the new bumper shape; it is taken from the Roadster II. Traffic was minimal but it was still dangerous taking a pic. The sides of the car are indistinguishable from our car.
I imagine they will be available here Q2 of next year. I am a buyer.

Here's the refreshed Model 3:

I saw a white Highland in my neighborhood around 8:00 AM this morning. Beautiful. No Shanghai emblem; T E S L A across the back. My guess is they are about to be available here.
