Haha they are not getting a penny out of me. Routine stuff like tire rotation is covered by Hyundai for two years, and unless something breaks, there is really nothing that needs to be done on this car except the cabin filter. It can be literally changed in 5 minutes
@AMIRZA786 does your car have a On/Off button? Or is it like Polestar where you just sit and put it on drive and go? I'm seriously considering this to replace my Polestar. Thanks

Yes, unfortunately Hyundai decided to go with an On/Off button, unlike our Polestar's and Tesla

Another example of a component that shouldn't be there same for any key fobs especially the fancy expensive ones why do we need that? Phone as a key and some type of backup like a credit card key. What really irks me is on some cars you lose the "smart key" and it's hella expensive to replace you're forced to buy a part that shouldn't exist. This is legacy baggage sticking you in the eye.

I agree, having an On/Off button on an EV, especially one built ground up is pretty silly. You have to sit in the car, hit the "On" button, wait for it to "initialize" then put it in gear and drive. Whereas my Polestar and Y, just sit in the car, put your foot on the brake, put it in gear and you are off. Park, get out and walk away. The Hyundai you have to turn it off or someone can drive away. My wife has accidentally left it on a few times

Just like an ICE car that you leave running. Can Hyundai disable fast charging if the car is stolen? I know this opens up privacy and ethical questions.

You can remotely turn it on or off, lock it and even track it through the app
I'm sure Hyundai can also disable the car remotely. I can also disable charging through the app. You can also use your phone as a key, but I haven't been able to get that to work
