Default Vehicle Delivery Question

My ordered ES300h was due to be built last week on 10/28. On 10/27, Hurricane Zeta blew through and knocked out power to large areas of Southern Louisiana. Luckily my power was restored last Friday, but my Dealer has not been so lucky. My Salesman has made a trip to Houston since the dealer is temporarily closed and his home has no power either. My question is; Is there any way to get progress information on my car other than through the purchasing dealer? I have the temporary VIN# assigned to the car, not the ultimate VIN# permanently attached to the vehicle. Will Lexus Customer Service assist in getting the information for me? Getting a little nervous. Thanks as always.

Just got an email from my Sales Rep. with my VIN# and a date for delivery of 11/17. Game on! Strange looking Vin#. These 2 weeks will seem like 2 years. I also registered on the "Owner's" website, so now I am official. The info on the website looks pretty comprehensive. I did see there was a list of Owner programmable functions as well as Dealer Only changeable options. I will want to have the option programmed to open all windows and sunroof by holding down the Open button on the key fob. Can anyone recommend any other Dealer Programmable options changed?

I changed the following;

Lane change flasher volume: Soft
Lane Change Signal Flashes: 5 times
By pressing on the trunk release button, located on the electronic key, the trunk will open: Press button one time to release the trunk. (No delay)

As far as opening the windows with the key option, my vehicle was set to on as a default, possibly due to the fact that I live in Southern California.

PLEASE be careful with programming the key fob to open all the windows and sunroof. The reason I'm here on this forum is because Honda Accord Hybrids have the same window/sunroof setting on their key fobs when you hit the unlock button twice, holding it down the second time. Somehow it was activated in my pocket one evening without my knowing (Maybe the fob was in my pocket the wrong way, I'm still not sure), and the next day we had an all-day rainstorm. Because I'm working from home, I didn't go out to get in my car that day and only noticed everything being open the next afternoon.. Fortunately, my insurance covered it, but now I'm looking at buying a new car MUCH sooner than I ever expected. Best of luck!

EDIT: BTW - My car was a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring with the exact color specification as yours... I miss my baby...

Nico, Like you, I will miss my Accord. It's fun to drive, has good working tech and great gas mileage. Here in the Deep South, being able to remotely lower the windows to cool off the interior is almost survival. Guess if I had your experience I'd think twice also.

You also have to option to remote start the vehicle a few minutes before entering. With the AC & seats in Auto Mode, the vehicle will automatically cool or heat the cabin depending on exterior temperature.

I turned off the seatbelt reminders. I think it is as much about the principle of Lexus legal deciding when/if I wear seatbelts as much as anything. The reality is that I nearly always wear them - but there is this short trip from the gym when I'm all sweaty that I sit on a towel and don't buckle up....

Anyway, I cannot locate the chart for a 2021 model ES, but here is the one for the 2019 ES. I had them turn off options 40-44: https://www.lexus.com/documents/broc...MY19-ES350.pdf
