Just about every car manufacturer does nowadays......and then when you get finished with their surveys, you'll get a bunch more from private research companies and maybe some from bigger firms like J.D. Power. And, if you subscribe to Consumer Reports, you will get one from them, too.
Some salespeople and dealerships ( and I disagree with this practice ) actually tell new customers they will be getting a manufacturer's survey and try to tell them in advance what to put on it.

If I remember correctly, J.D. Power actually sends you a $1 bill to you along with a questionaire to fill out.
Yes...it varies from $1 to $5 to sometimes a lot more. I once got $100 in cash for agreeing just to spend one evening on a Cadillac CTS focus group when the car was first being marketed, even though I didn't own one.

Basically about a month later.
The most I got was $450 when they were previewing the Continental GT. (This is when I bought the S500.) The interior still had some clay parts, like the doors and the dash
The $1 from JD wasn't really worth it b/c the survey was pretty long. I filled it out anyway b/c I didn't mind, hopefully some things that they can improve on the GX
They all seem to be getting cheap lately. Now, a couple of them say that if you send in the survey, they enter you to win a prize. Woop de do. No doubt they have no such prize.
