Android auto 2019 ES350
[QUOTE=TechNut;11272971]Yes! This matches my understanding as well. I don’t see it as good news or bad news however. Both OSs are very good and I have no reason to favor one over the other. Each has its pros and cons.
I agree. It comes down to personal preference and also what one is used to.

Yep it is the gold standard. Also iMessage. It's in need of an update sure but still lightyears ahead of normal text. Also iOS can be specifically tailored and matched with hardware whereas Android is filled with bloatware and tied to a zillion different phones so it's not optimized. One of the reasons it performs poorly and zaps more power etc. There's just a lot of stuff non-apple people don't get about apple. sure there's a lot of apple sheep who just follow/use apple just because, but there's no denying Apple's excellence at optimization at hardware and software so they run faster and more efficient and more secure all around.
I cared more about this stuff 10 years ago, i'm too old now to get militant about phones other than to point out differences in both systems if the topic comes up. Use what you like as long as it works for you =)

…..and that’s why iOS is the gold standard. It’s because it’s much more stable and more refined than Android OS. Take it as you like. My wife had Android for years until she changed over to iOS 3 years ago and she hasn’t looked back. I’ve been with iOS since 2008. Apple also has excellent customer service and it has places (Apple Stores) that you can directly go to with your device if you have any issues. I haven’t seen that with Samsung. No i haven’t. That’s why Apple is the gold standard.
I haven’t had to service my Apple iPhone either, but it’s good to have the “convenience “ of a close by Apple Store to make purchases as well as for service or for asking any questions about your device. Samsung doesn’t have these conveniences for their smart phones. Like I said, I’ve owned both and only Apple has the best customer service and the best operating system. But you are free to believe what you like.
Personally, I do not like Apple as a company, don't like their politics, (have you seen the photo of the pregnant man?) and wouldn't buy one of their products. For those who swoon over Apple products and state that "it's a good thing" and that it's "stable, polished, and refined," I say go for it. I also find that the Android system is "polished, refined, predictable, and stable". To each their own... There's a reason why 3/4 of the world uses Android...
