Lexus App - Hazard Lights button?
Does the app not support the remote Hazard light function for the 2021 ES350?
We just picked up an IS300 for my Wife and her app shows the Hazard light button, my app for my ES350 does not.

It's included on my 2019 ES UL. Maybe Lexus dropped it after 2019... Lexus is constantly changing features with adding some and deleting others...
It shows on my 2021 RX, right under the Start Engine button. Ironically my 2019 ES doesn't currently show anything other than "Remote Services Activation Required." Sigh...
I know an auto manufacturer's data systems are very much ancillary to the vehicle, but as a former IT professional it just amazes me that the folks in Lexus leadership accept this shoddy solution. It really reflects poorly on Lexus.
Lexus is playing catch up to some manufacturers in auto tech space. We are now in the era of software defined vehicles and companies such as Tesla is at the forefront. It is inconceivable to imagine that your vehicle gains new features overnight with over the air updates until recently.

Yeah. Unfortunately (for enthusiasts) Toyota/Lexus as a corporation is like a massive massive MASSIVE oceanliner cargo shop. Massive... in that they react extremely extremely slowly to their environment or unless absolutely positively necessary. They react and watch and observe. It's a part of their corporate strategy and overall culture.
Extremely conservative, on every level. This is great for their reliability and reputation which is the foundation of their brand, but bad for techy customers who want the latest and greatest and want it fast. Lexus likes to improve on known stuff slowly rather than bring out new stuff all the time. Essentially Lexus has lesser to lose by not giving customers new tech, no engines, etc., and more to gain. But this can only last so long which brings me back to the part where I said "force." And then when they do bring a new technology out to match competitors, it's usually a bit half baked in the name of reliability and savings. Again, very conservative. Just the culture of a car company that very much plays the long game. They're not interested so much in short term glory.
There may be a few exceptions some could cite but this has largely been their strategy the past 100 years. lol
