2022 ul
I am in the search for another Lexus to replace my 2016 ES 350. It is down to a couple of options, specifically a special order on a new 2022.
Does the UL have extra sound deadening over the other models? I thought I read it on here and cannot find it in the brochure.
Thank you in advance.

As to the windows, I agree. However, I had read somewhere that both the hybrid AND the UL model have additional sound deadening (aside from the windows). I cannot find that reference at this point so I cannot verify the source of the information.
Same. I know I read it, but cannot find it. I will keep looking though.
The ES's Ultra Luxury package includes the 18" Noise Reducing w/ Hyper Chrome wheels, available as a free flow option on Luxury Level cars also.

The UL and F-Sport have Performance Dampers (not available on base or Luxury level). Think of these as very High Tech cross car braces that add
rigidity with out the usual harshness that shock tower braces can add.

Update on the Performance Dampers...We have a Luxury Level 2020 ESh and I checked with
the Parts Department on just adding the PD's. Guess we'll never know how much difference
they may make because they are $800...each...without the brackets to attach them.

I have the dampers on my 2019 UL 350. I can say that the difference between this car and my lux 2013, as far as handling, is noticeable. I do enjoy the sticky handling of the '19, especially when accelerating.
I have HUD and never turn it on. I find it distracting. $500 down the drain.
Ah sounds like I not missing much without HUD then as I am not in a hurry while cruising in ECO mode on my ESh. I read the current crop of Lexus HUD isn't the best compare to the German's but somewhere in middle.
This is all about personal preference. My wife and I love it. She was on the verge of turning down the RX we recently purchased because it didn't have HUD. I enjoy it as well and would have loved to have it on the RX, but it wasn't quite a make or break decision for me - especially since this was the only option missing from our wish list.
