If you are talking like check engine lights etc. There are two options pull fuses under the hood or disconnect the battery cable for a minute or two.
Use the search function and there are directions for both including what fuses to pull.
Although, if those are not the lights you were talking about then ignore this post.

That is excatly how it is done, you will see these little segmented bars dissapear one by one till they are gone altogether and the system is re-set.

You're gonna get a whole bunch of do a search and/or read the manual. But I can't remember exactly but I think you just press and hold your milage counter reset/toggle while the car is off or maybe on acc (that's the part I don't remember exactly) until you hear a beep. But I'm sure someone will correct me shortly. But ya it's on the manual.
