Default 2021 White interiors

With my lease running out I am looking for a white 2021 ES 350 F-Sport and was advised this morning that 4 identical white F-Sports were on the way. My salesperson sent me the window sticker information and told me to disregard the interior color of white as it was in error – “Lexus doesn’t make white interiors”. On further review I noticed a $850 charge for a “Special Edition”. I eventually learned that these cars are a run of 1500 F-Sport Black Line Edition cares and along with Haliburton luggage they do in fact have white interiors. Maybe, and only maybe, these won’t look bad with the Obsidian or Blue cars but I can’t imagine that much white on a white car and I believe I have now located a white F-Sport with a black interior.

Not that I'm completely against white interiors, my wife did have a bright orange 1972 Ford Pinto with a white interior and it looked pretty good - but that was 1972..

These cars do have some nice looking black wheels though along with black mirrors and a black spoiler.

I have the chateau color interior which is like light beige. I can't imagine the upkeep on a white interior especially on door handles and seat corners. Did it say anything about the actual color name?

Imagine what that will look like after a few months of driving in bluejeans.

Good thing I prefer sweatpants. The ventilated seats blow much better through those.

White interiors look great... for awhile. Every car I’ve ever seen with a white interior looks dirty tan after a pretty short period of time. Might as well just get tan and save the headache. 😂

I'd be all over that.

I've had light colors before, and yes, they do accept some jean dye transfer, but once a month or so I would just go out there and wipe it off. It only takes a few minutes. If they had offered a white interior on my GS, I would have definitely went for it.

😂😂 I prefer black mostly as well. I have had one car with Tan, which I don’t like and then have an Indy Red interior in the M5 which I absolutely love.

The BMW red interior is quite nice. My son in law has it in his M4.

Put a leather coating on it, and clean it regularly and you wont have any issues with dye transfer.

Steve, I thought most semi-aniline leather seats in Lexus vehicles have a thin coating of polyurethane sprayed on the leather. If that's the case nothing should really permeate down to the leather. I have no idea what type of leather is on the ES line, but on the LS with semi aniline seats I haven't had any problems with dye transfer that couldn't be removed with a 1:10 diluted solution of woolite and some light rubbing with a clean cloth.

Those white FSport seats are Nuluxe.

As was said above, those seats are NuLuxe.

But, yes you are correct the leather seats do have a coating. Dye jean transfer will permanently stain that coating though if you dont keep it clean and put something on the seats to protect them from the dye.

That is correct. The only NX vehicles that have leather seating are the Luxury package cars, and the leather on those Luxury NX is the standard leather, not semi-aniline leather.
