Ours worked fine too, for a while then stopped.

Hopefully the problems will be resolved soon.

What did you base your guess on?

That there would have to be some sort of hardware change in order for vehicles to carry Android Auto.

So we'll see.
I got an email this afternoon saying "Congratulations on your enrollment in Lexus enform services" which I thought was odd. But I thought maybe this meant something had changed so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Once I got logged back in, that error message was gone and it appears that remote services are working again. So you might want to watch out for that same email to see if it fixes your problem too.

The issue is still not resolved -- at least for me.

On Wed. I did get the "Congratulations!" email and received a call from Lexus saying that the problem was resolved. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It went into the "activation pending" state, but after 2h the error message returned. I called Lexus back. A technician took control of my app and tried to fix things. No luck. The next day they tried again. No luck. So now (again) the issue has been escalated.

They've told me that this issue is affecting a lot of '20 owners (which they regret). They're sure that it's an app/software issue and not a hardware (DCM/telematics) malfunction.

Also: When I thought that the problem was fixed on Wed. I asked for 1y additional (free) Enform. They wouldn't do that but offered 6 mos. Sold!

Make sure you installed the latest Enform app as there were two until recently. One original and then an updated app... Should be a black filled in circle with white Lexus "L' in the center...

Remember that you can also remote start your car by pressing the "lock" button on the smart key three times, holding it in on the third press until the car starts... Don't need the internet or any phone.
not for me I tried this multiple times over the past few months never helped with this issue

Do you have a 7th Gen, or are you trying this on older Gens?

Hopefully they will get you fixed soon. Each morning I still cross my fingers that it's still going to work when I open the app. For the first few days when I opened the app it was still on the "stop engine" setting that you see after the engine starts so I had to first do the stop engine thing to get the start engine prompt back up then it worked fine.

Hi...I have a 2020 ES300h build date 12/11/2019...Remote services has never worked more than 2 days at a time. Always will display mileage correctly. They can delete your vehicle and add it back on as new and works temporary. Also found that taking negative cable off 12V battery for 10 min will reset everything and works flawless for 2 days. Dealer tech talks with them direct and says some 2020 vehicles are not working and they are working on it. At this point they do not have a clue what is wrong. This has been over a month which tells me they are not working too hard to resolve the problem. This will most likely result in a hardware replacement as resetting the vehicle is a temporary fix. I am sure they are trying to avoid this expensive repair with a software fix but this should have been done by now. Hope this gets resolved soon as this is the only negative I see with the car.

Sadly, the data services, especially the remote start, seem to be a weak spot for Lexus. We went through similar problems when we purchased the 2016 but they eventually sorted it out.

I have a 2019 UL 350 and I'm getting the same thing when I open the app. The "stop engine" icon is indicated and I have to close the app, reopen it, and SOMETIMES it works... I wonder if the "old" enform app works better... How are you getting the "start engine" icon back?

I just go ahead and make the stop engine request then that brings the start engine function back up. This morning however when I opened the app, the start engine function was there as it's supposed to be but I just opened the app again and stop engine is showing so it's not resetting like it used to.
