I had a big outage sometime in '21 when although everything on my end was updated (app, phone itself, anything through the standard user accessible car interface), it still wouldn't do remote start and a few other functions. It ended up being some 'at the dealership only' firmware update that fixed it all. I would heavily suggest taking it to a dealership and asking about the firmware. Not sure if you can find it without hookin' up some diagnostic tool, which my mechanic says he bought for a hefty sum.


Well i did brought car to dealership , and its 3 weeks in it and they saying they changed 2 module that responsible for communication between app, car and key fob. And still doesn't work , so now they contact IT who run the lexus app and see whats on they end …
