One thing to keep in mind ,even if you are an Apple phone user like I am is you can enable the Lexus skill in the Amazon Alexa app. So,sort of in reverse of being in the car, you can ask ask Alexa to start your car, tell you how much gas you have and a few other things from in the house or on your alexa phone app . The remote start from the house is what i use on these frigid florida mornings

Those of us living in the northeast are very happy that you have remote start for the "frigid Florida mornings". The temp in Pennsylvania as I write this is 6... JK, JK...

A 6 degree temperature would seem like a heat wave to me.
We have had 8 straight days and 12 of the last 14 days with overnight lows below zero. The daily high temperatures have not even reached zero for the last 5 days, and there were two days with low temperatures of -33 and -31 and high temperatures around -20. To add insult to injury, there were 20+ inches of snow in a 6 day period.
Being able to find a way to stay inside has been a higher priority than being able to remote start the car.

Last night it got up to a balmy -4f so we celebrated by going out to dinner. It was good to get out of the house.
