Road noise
I have a 2024 base with Michelin tires that’s very quiet. We just bought a 25 base and it came with Bridgestones and the highway noise from the door seals and tires is averaging 80dbs at 78 mph. Dealer said it is normal!!!
I agree with previous comment; I wouldn’t have bought a new 25 if I had known.

Any other recommendations out there for quieter tires?
I've seen mention of Vredestein QuadPro mentioned in various thread, as well as the Michelin Cross Climate 2 (not keen on that tread patter), Michelin Primacy Tour A/S, Michelin Defender, Turanza Prestige, Goodyear Assurance MaxLife 2.
Thanks,

What were the Michelin tires on your base model? I've got a 2022 ES300h "Luxury" with Turanza EL440, and on the smoothest of roads, noise comes roaring in. It can be quite tiring on long drives, and drowns out the stereo.

I really did quite a bit of searching to come up with the various tire brands that were mentioned across the forum before posting my question, and have since sent a PM to the member regarding their tire model (it didn't occur to me at the time).
Unlike fixed data, where "search" is great for getting the instructions for replacing your wiper blades or programming the garage remote, opinions about tires are on a continuum. Users will have updates on their experiences with tires over time, and new tire models are coming out fairly frequently so this isn't a static topic. For example, the Goodyear Maxlife 2 only came out in July 2025 and the only recent 7th gen ES-related discussion I could find was related to treadwear in September 2025, so not very current.
This is a topic of some interest to each model, and our forum doesn't have a Tires subforum within the 7th Gen ES area - just a general Wheels/Tires/Brakes area, which makes it harder to search. Because many tire-related threads morph into and out of conversations about tires - like shocks, seats, wind noise, etc., and many non-tire threads have tire opinions scattered throughout perhaps a model-specific Wheels/Tires/Brakes subforum could be a good place for people to post thoughts and ask questions and be more of a one-stop shop.
Then "search" will truly be your friend!
Thanks.

Pick a tire matching your use case and that's it: rain, snow, lifetime, grip, etc.
Reading opinions is risky: most people would compare their brand new sets to their old one and only do it every couple years.
As for quietness: do you drive on smooth roads? Because at some point the road texture makes noise regardless of the tire.

In Southern California, I don't have to worry about snow, and the ES300h doesn't really lend itself to vigorous driving (I had a 2006 Acura RL previously, which was pretty tossable despite it's weight). It does rain here (they're talking about an El Nino) so the priorities are a smooth/quiet ride, and decent dry and wet handling. I don't drive enough to care about long life -- maybe 6000-8000 miles per year.
Opinions can sure be a mixed bag, but getting feedback from drivers of the same model and generation of vehicle helps sort through the chaff.
Thanks for the questions!
I noticed the tire noise first on a smooth newly paved asphalt street once I got over about 50mph. I travel to Palm Desert in CA fairly regularly now, and the roads there are fairly smooth so the noise stands out. Concrete highways are noisy by nature - and I can live with that.

When opinion enters any discussion arena there is a lot of D-K effect out there..
Let us know what success you have
You are very lucky, I have the 2025 UL es350 and have taken it back twice now for the noises. I have engine noise, low banging noise under the car, crackling noise when going up incline, and wind noise. I keep getting the story of, that is the engine sound, that is the wheels, and we can't duplicate the crackling sound. I would really like to know what I can do to verify that those are the sounds I should be hearing in a NEW car. If so, Lexus should be sued for their production of this engine. Where do I research what the engine should really sound like, as the noises drive me crazy?

The 7th gen uses the 2GR-FKS with Direct Injection and that adds additional normal sounds to the engine operation and might be what you are hearing?
Suggest making a good video of the sounds so we can evaluate and comment .
