FWIW - When I got my 2025 ES350 UL last year, it has a lot of 'road noise'. I got rid of the Bridgestone Turanza Tires Immediately
and put on a Set of 235/45R-18 Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ XL Tires. - The difference was amazing as it got rid of all the noise.

Legroom really isn't the limiting factor on the ES's rear seat comfort. The legroom is outstanding, but thigh support and headroom back there suffer because the low roofline forced a lowering of the seat bottom. That's why the LS has less rear legroom on paper, but seats adults more comfortably in reality.

The G80 has plenty of rear seat room for adults, and I say that even though I declined for other reasons to buy one.

I know many people think the ES's low rear roofline looks good but it compromised too many things, like rear visibility, head room and evidently rear leg room. I suppose there's no point talking about it at this point, with the demise of this generation.

If you want quiet tires the Michelin green energy saver A/S tires that came on my 25 es350ul are probably the best choice. I've heard the Bridgestone turanza tires can be noisy. And they are available in the size the es350 uses.

Go to Tire Rack and run their Tire Decision Guide. There are better choices than the MXV4. I just looked and the MXV4 does not seem to come in the size for your Lexus. I also have the 25 - ES350UL and the Tire Decision guide ranked the 235/45R-18 Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ XL as the quietest and ride comfort for our cars.

I had Vredestein Quatrac Pro's on this car, and a family member ran Vredestein (I think?) Quatrac 5's. They're good and rather quiet tires at a good price, but we both suspect that Tire Rack may be hyping them up a bit because Tire Rack itself may be the #1 U.S. retailer of the brand. I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend them, but their life proved so short that I moved on to another brand.

First the Tire Rack Decision Guide is based on User Reviews and your choice of Priorities. I only selected Ride Comfort and Quietness. I did not prioritize Tread Life.

So, if you prioritize Tread Life, you'll get a difference answer. Tire Rack Did Not recommend them. It is based on your Priority rankings, and then then the user reviews.

I understand what you're saying. I was referring not necessarily to your specific case, but to the praise Tire Rack has lavished on the maker's tires on multiple occasions across various aspects of performance. It is, even so, just my opinion.

Perhaps Dougyfd may have gotten the Michelin model wrong. A 2024 ES 350 Ultra Luxury I looked at has OEM Michelin Energy Saver A/S 235/45R18 tires installed.

According to the Tirerack ratings, the Michelin Energy Saver A/S 235/45R18 tires have a better rating in all the rating items than the Bridgestone Turanza EL440 235/45R18 tires that are also OEM ES 350 Ultra Luxury installed tires.

That said, in the Grand Touring All-Season tire category, there are better-rated tires available than either of those two OEM-installed tires.

At some point road noise can't be fought by tires alone.
I get atrocious noise on cross-cut concrete highways. Then on asphalt highways the car is very quiet.

I have Primacy MXV4 tires on my 2020 ES 350 base model and they are fairly quiet down here in Southwest Florida where many roads are coarse. I'm not sure if Defender2 or Primacy Tour A/S are better. They were among the top picks by Consumer Reports a couple months ago. I'll only buy Michelin tires. The MXV4 is not mentioned.

Had the Primacy MXM4 for my last two sets of tires and decided to go with the Defender2 this go around. I would say they're equally as quiet as the MXM4, but the former has a smoother ride, as expected from a grand touring tire. However I was aiming for longevity this time and so far am happy. Road noise is minimal from the tires and it absorbs the bumps nicely. They seem a little jittery, but I'm still only 100 miles or so into this set so I'm well within the break in period. Hopefully these last way longer than the 31k miles I have gotten on the previous sets of MXM4s

I will probably go with the Defender2 next year if I still have the car. I would like a 2026 RAV4 PHEV SE or XSE next if the price is right. At 56k miles, I can see no oil leaks and my transmission seems to have gotten smoother over time. These issues kept me from buying a 2025 ES.

I feel like Ive never gotten my moneys worth on any Michelins Ive purchased (or that came with our cars). Yeah they ride great for about 10-15K miles, then the wear like iron (good!) but ride like your rolling on rocks (not good!). Traction also suffers as well.

So far, Continental PureContact LS have worked out well on our 2015 ES.
