Road noise
I have a 2025 UL and one of the things I like about it is how quiet it is inside. Wind noise has never been an issue at all; even when doing 70-75. There will be a little tire noise depending on the road surface; some roads are better than others. But overall it is very quiet. We now have 7,000 miles on it and couldn't be happier.
Not even close to true! - I have owned 3 Genesis. I currently own a 2018 G80. I test drove a 2025 Genesis G80. It is a Bigger Car than my 2025 ES350 UL. My 2018 G80 is also bigger than my ES350. The G90 is a Much bigger Car. The Genesis G80 is also a quieter ride than the ES350. And after 60,000 miles my Genesis G80 is a nicer quieter Car than my ES350. I was going to buy the 2025 G80, but could not get what I wanted as far as Color combinations. And yes it would have cost me around $30 Grand More.

$30K more is more than 50% extra over the ES. That's insane.

Well, I wanted a Luxury Sedan. No way was I going to go German, I wanted the reliability of Asian cars. So, that pretty much limited me to Genesis.
Genesis seems to be focusing on SUVs so I really wanted a RWD Sedan as I had before. But I was willing to compromise on AWD. Then to get the top of the line Nappa Leather it forced me into a 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo and all the options. So it was MSRP of $80 Grand.... The extra dollars are consumed by Sales Tax, Registration Fees etc,
If I could have got the color Combination that I wanted it would have been worth every penny. --- I'm not taking any money with me when I croak.

I wanted a luxury sedan with a V6 engine. We've had our 2015 ES for 10 years at this point and its still the best car we've ever owned. Before Toyota stops the V6 in them, I wanted to get a 2025 (and if the redesign pics/vids posted here are any indication, I am not a fan of the next gen ES either). I do agree about avoiding German stuff though!
I have a 2025 UL. It’s exceptionally quiet. The UL has acoustic glass and noise reduction wheels. I don’t know if all trim levels have acoustic glass. I’ve had it since December and put 5,000 miles on it including several Interstate trips. Even at 70 mph it’s remarkably serene. Going over railroad tracks or speed bumps results in a mild thump. I therefore will admit that subjectively the front end is quieter and more isolated than the rear, perhaps due to the fact that front feels decidedly heavier than the rear. This is suspension noise, not road or wind noise.
Disclaimer: my weekender is an S2000, so almost anything else is quiet by comparison.

i am not too happy with road noise either. Mind ot the asphalt where I live is quote rough. I suppose for better traction in the winter. Calling lexus es luxury car is a stretch mate. It's a premium car at best.
In case that benefits anyone: my windshield side moldings were loose reinstalling them properly removed a lot of wind noise.
But I don't think they would be loose for no reason: in my case a body shop broke the clips.

Have any actual scientific tests been done comparing “noise reduction” wheels to the others in this generation? I’m thinking there’s a bit self-fulfilling prophecy going on here. Kind of like when some insist they really feel that 1-4 horsepower gain from their K&N Filter. Are those wheels coated with snake oil?
