I had heard there were issues with AA and the S23. Linked is articles. Hopefully this will get fixed with an update. My wife bought a 2023 NX 350h last December. Her S9 was connecting about half the time. My S21 was fine. She got a S22 with no problems.

Have the s23 Ultra and have not had any issues at all. You can try clearing the cache of Android Auto app. I've used both wired and wireless, but have moved on to wireless and it's worked flawlessly.

Also might want to try clearing the cache on Android Auto and Bluetooth.

I too have this same phone.
Try deleting your old phones out of the car's old paired list and try again.
Also deleting android auto and reinstalling it may help.
I did both to finally get the new phone to not only work but to get the new wide screen version of AA.

Good luck.

@bootman just to confirm - you are reffering to Android Auto connection via a wire right? Because my 2022 is only running wire AA.

I have a 2019 so don't have android auto but have recently been having a hard time connecting my Note 20 Ultra through bluetooth. Have always been seamless before but recently I would have to unpair, find...find...restart phone...find....etc. then would finally connect.

Hi

Just bought a brand new 2024 Lexus ES 300h in Perth, however Android Auto is not launching when using a wireless Android Auto adaptor. I have tried the motorola ma1 and also 3 other types of wireless AAuto adaptors. It seems that the system does repeatedly try to open Android auto, as a notification pops up go say Android auto failed to launch.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I understand Australian Lexus ES cars only come with wired Android Auto, however I thought I would be able to use a wireless adaptor.
