Sewell's Lexus
Just a note to say how terrific the folks at Sewell's Lexus are. I have bought several items from them and the 4 or 5 people to whom I spoke were very gracious and knowledgeable. I had to return the first spoiler that I purchased because I had ordered in the wrong color (!), and the return and the refund were handled with dispatch and courtesy. All of this in addition to really good discounts for Club Lexus members.
Full disclosure: I live in Maryland and have no affiliation, whatsoever, with Sewell's.

Did you get the spoiler installed?

The Sewell business model is built around customer service.
I once had one of their service writers buy a part for me, out of her own pocket, AND she installed it herself (an interior light cover).
This was in the mid-1990's . They won a "Customer For Life", which also happens to be the name of Carl Sewell's book.

I live in New Orleans and have always bought my Lexus vehicles locally, until this last time. The local dealer began to refuse to work with me on price and threatened me with "no loaner car" when I brought my car in for service if I bought elsewhere.
Because of all the good comments about Sewell on CL, I emailed the internet sales address at Sewell and connected with Dawn Butrus. Her initial prices for the new car and my trade were substantially better than my local dealer, she was much more willing to accommodate me (gave me the optional ES350 wheels on my ES300h with Michelin tires and a set of all-weather floor mats) and had it ready for me when I arrived in Dallas. Sewell will be the first place I call when I'm ready for my next car. I could not have been more satisfied.

Spoiler not yet installed but I am going to use the studs and bolt it in.
I will say that the tape method works well. I installed a spoiler on my 2003 Vette that was much bigger than the Lexus one and did not have an ounce of trouble with it.

The Lexus protective film just covers the top portion of the bumper. I guess it's to prevent scratching or scuffing the bumper with bringing things in and out of the truck.

That would be its purpose. Oh, and it also reminds you that you're driving a Lexus while you're back there. Just in case all the other badging wasn't enough.
