Default Bad engine mount???

Hi all, new owner of Lexus here and to Clublexus. Quick question to all. My 2013 ES I feel engine vibrating at stop light while on gear and worse with ac on. But when at P or N i dont feel any vibration. People telling me it is bad engine mount. I took a video of mount movement while on gear. Can someone tell me I’ve got bad mount? Thank you in advance!

I'm not a mechanic, but it looks like the mount does have some free play at the end of it's movement. My previous car, a Chrysler Sebring, had a lot of problems with engine mounts and I could hear the mounts click when I rocked the engine by hand, and it had the same problem at stoplights you mentioned.
you should probably have the mount changed, or change it yourself if you have the tools and time.

Motor mounts do move, that’s actually their function. If they were not able to move, then the engine vibration would all be transmitted to the body of the vehicle.
probably best to take it to a Toyota or Lexus dealer as they will know if it’s past it’s prime, or functioning normally.

toyota dealers are typically cheaper than Lexus and the cars are very similar mostly using the same components.
