Lexus to Eliminate Pandora App
Just got an e-mail today from Lexus informing me around 13 November there will be an update to the Enform Application Suite. After the update, the Pandora app will no longer be available thru the Enform Suite. In order to use Pandora one will have to download the Pandora app and use either the bluetooth or USB connections. The only thing I used in the AppSuite was Pandora, so that's pretty annoying. The e-mail also said they are eliminating the apps Open Table and Facebook Places. Lexus should just kill all off Enform and Navigation and hurry up with Android / Apple Car support. Since I do not use any of the other Enform apps, I guess I might as well uninstall the app since it is worthless to me now. When it comes to trading off my 2016 ES for a new car, unless Lexus has added Android Auto by then and has eliminated that damn mouse controller and gone with a touch screen like everyone else, I guess I will not be buying another Lexus.

Lead Lap
Well probably Android Auto won't be available until later in 2019 or maybe even 2020. Lexus should have included it in their new generation 7 ES cars along with Apple.
Just poor planning IMO. As far as a touch screen I would bet no change from the mouse control for the foreseeable future. At least the generation 7 years.

Yeah, the removal of Pandora has been discussed on various forums here. It's really annoying for me. I used to subscribe (pay) to both Pandora and Slacker. I dropped Slacker last year, because the two were kind of redundant in my ES. Now, I may have to reconsider. I wonder when/if Slacker will be removed, though. Lexus/Toyota has been making some questionable decisions lately.
