I have a 2008 lux edition with the perforated seats, which I understand are real leather. My question is besides the perforated part, are any of the other "leather" panels, sides, bolsters, panels around the perforated leather etc. on the seats real leather or is is all vinyl? I have read numerous posts about what is leather and what isn't and I still don't know the answer. I am assuming that the "leather" on the console and door panels is vinyl but I am not even sure about that. Does anyone know?
My second question is what cleaner/conditioner have you used on the faux leather vinyl and that you would recommend? Thanks in advance for any information and recommendations.
All of the leather is coated with polyurethane. In my opinion, and the sticky may differ, there is no real need to use any leather treatment, just use something for vinyl, plastic interiors. It makes car care a lot easier.
The leather cannot breathe etc as it is coated in polyurethane.
The cracks you see in your seats are cracks in the polyurethane and can be cleaned as explained in the link.
Good Luck!
