Default Homelink problem.

2 months ago I started having problems with my homelink.
One day when I left home I closed the garage door like I normally do but when I arrived I was not able to open the door because my homelink was dead, there was no red LED. Couple days later it started working. I thought it is just a computer glitch.

Now, again. All the fuses are good, overhead console lights and buttons work. Last night I dropped the console, I checked all the connectors and they were plugged and good.

Unfortunately no idea here. But, I had the same problem a few months ago that got to the stage it just stopped working completely. So I purchased this kit https://www.amazon.com/LiftMaster-My...ter+remote+myq

and it works perfectly. Should have got it sooner.

I had this issue but it was because one of the buttons was stuck closed.

I tried to hit the overhead console but that did not help.

The stuck button was quite visible. If you didn't see this then my problem isn't the same as yours. Maybe something worse like a loose connection.

FWIW, I had to unstick it by pushing and wiggling it. Even after unsticking, it wouldn't work. Fortunately I had one of the other buttons programmed for the same door. I used that and only then did the other button start working again.

Thank you. I'll try tonight to check the unit.
