Learning Curve
I can tell you my 2007 does this on a regular basis. It is a part of the driving "learning" curve the PCM goes through. I am a relatively spirited driver (unless the family is in the car) frequently using sport mode on the transmission. When I drive less spirited (non-sport mode), I can tell the car shifts harder, downshifts more frequently but there is no issues. After a few consecutive trips with the family, the car softens up, shifts softer, downshifts less harsh. But when I drive alone again, it reverts back to "spirited mode" in a day or so. My car is so confused...LOL!!!
