Default Window Trim

Hi All,

anyone know what parts and how I go about fixing this window trim that is sticking up on the rear door window? Underneath the chrome it looks maybe a rubber strap or something is broken that holds it down?

Those are held in by clips the shape of the molding and some thick adhesive. Putting some more adhesive would hold it in place. You can find these off junk cars but they're a pain to remove without breaking.

Thank you for the reply. Should I use something like gorilla glue? Or is there specific adhesive used for this?

Get some DAP Rapidfuse. It is easy to use, sets up fast, fills gaps and is outdoor safe. Home Depot has it.

Or ask a local body shop what they recommend. Estimates are free.

Any other alternatives? I have a lifting trim exactly like Donbrascos but my local Home Depot doesn't carry DAP (and it's not availale for delivery either).

I recently used 3M Emblem Adhesive to put back one of the front door body molding pieces. I figure anything that doesn't completely solidify necessarily should be good to use.

Hey Guys, I was able to track down the part number from Lexus for a replacement. It’s part number (75740-33120). I couldn’t find a tutorial for an ES350 but I found 1 for a GS and the trim appears to have clips on the bottom and snaps out and the new one snaps in. I’ll update the post once I do it myself though to verify.
