I know the 7th generation ES is a different model, but if you do a search over in that subforum you will find a couple of threads discussing the Fitcam. For example: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...ns-please.html
Wow...those look pretty great! Anyone know if something like that exists for the 2013-2015 models? I have a Nextbase dashcam, but I'd love to have on that could just sit in there looking like it was stock so I didn't have to fuss with putting it up and taking it down every time I drive.
Interesting -- I had been thinking about the BlackVue dr970 (spring release) but would certainly prefer an OEM option if this is a possibility after market in the US....if anyone is able to get it added to an RX, I would love to hear about it!

Fitcamx does make them for the RX, it is not OEM however.
Lexus also has an OEM dashcam, but wiring is required.
I don't have a FitCam installed in my vehicle, but I use the Viofo A129 Plus duo.
It's a front and rear dashcam and it sits pretty flush on my windshield, let me know if you would like to see pictures of how I have it wired and setup.

I'd love to see your process. My brother-in-law installed one in my spouse's Honda Pilot. He did a great job. I just bought the same dashcam and have yet to ask him to do mine. So nervous to "tear apart" my three week-old RX 350. I'm sure it'll be fine.
I have not installed one in my 2016 ES350 yet, but I have installed a FitcamX in my 2020 Kia Sportage. It gives a very good 4K picture.
The App seems to work well also.
I removed the factory plastic surround and the Fitcamx housing fit nicely in it's place.
I have been e-mailing with the support team about the Lexus. I don't have a plastic surround in my car as I have in the Kia. They say the Universal model A works in my situation, and besides the ODB or fuse box power supply they tell me a Y cable is also available for my car, as shown in the installation video.
Their Support Team has been very responsive and helpful if you contact them with any questions.
