Default Indentify this sensor.

I found a small electrical connector with a couple wires hanging loosely near firewall passenger side. The plugs seems to mate with some sort of sensor on the top edge passenger corner of cylinder head closest to firewall. Any ideas of what this would be?

What year is your ES? A picture would be very helpful as well.

That's an interesting way of posting pictures - never knew you could do that. Anyway, the wire looks like it could be a ground connection (looking at the female plugs on the left side of the photo). Or maybe it goes down to the B1S1 Air/Fuel sensor.... not sure. I don't remember having such a connection on my 98 ES, when I was doing my valve covers.

I am still learning the picture upload process. I had some difficulties uploading them without the links i have posted. I hope to get better with the pic posting.

Where is the "B1S1 Air/Fuel sensor" you spoke of?

What you want to do for pics, is use a picture hosting service, free or otherwise. I use Flickr. once you upload the pictures to your hoster, you can right click them and "copy image url" and then in your post here or any other message board, click the "Insert Image" button and paste the URL of the picture in.

Most message boards aren't very flexible on uploading pics directly they expect you to host them on your own and just embed the links in your post, like so:
