Question Problems!!!!Questions?????

I was wondering if you guys know the torque settings for the valve covers on a 93 ES. Mine are leaking and they seem pretty loose. Also, where is the best place to get used parts? While I am at it my windshield is constantly covered by a film that seems to come from the heat. I can clean it off with window cleaner and in a few days of being parked outside it starts to get filmy again. Really annoying at night! Anyone know how to stop this? My car is black so it may be really heating up.

Cool

HEY DUDE, the reason why its getting hazy on your windshield, is just that, you are leaving it outside letting the dashboard heat up, when the dashboard heats up, it creates some sort of chemical release that hazes up your window, the best way to deal with it is windex it every other day or get one of those carpeted dash mats to cover it, i park mine in the garage half the time and i dont get the haze anymore, unless its parked outside, i used to have a 2000 crapmaro ss and i bpught a pre-cut matt and it never hazed again!!!!
then i got rid of the car and bought my baby es3
hope this helps!!!

I park it in the garage when not at work. Man that is a lot of work, windexing it every other day. This is the first car I have had that has this problem. Would using Armor All help this?

When I use one of those reflective window shades it just makes it worse. Anyone know the torque specs for the valve covers? Thanks

I don't ever get this problem, and I always park outside. (I don't always remember to put up my window shade either)

are you talking about the torque for the valve bank covers or something else? cuz can't you just torque that to whatever you feel like pretty much? the ignition coils are to be torqued to 69 in/lbs.

I am talking about the covers right on top of the engine that cover the valves. The front one is under that little plastic lexus cover and the rear one is under the air intake. I don't know if anyone has a manual that states the torque or if you just crank down on them. Mine are leaking though.
