Default No windshield defrost

What might cause the windshield and windows not to defrost when foggy? As I go through all of the hvac settings on the controller I can hear and feel the heat coming through the vents but don' feel it coming through the vents for the windshield defrost. I read that anti-freeze could be a factor. Not sure if it's important or not but I did change the heater core a few months back. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is this problem a new issue or since you've had the car?

All heat that goes through the interior comes. From the antifreeze from. The engine going into the heater core. From there it gets split into different paths. Window, foot, face, foot/window.

You say that you can't feel it at the defroster. But do you feel it at the defroster when it's on feet/window?

Had this problem.a few moths ago but I replaced the heaterm core. I must ay that it's not often that I need to defrost my windshield but if and or when I do seems that I am unable to. Should I check my antifreeze level? If that's not the problem then where else should I direct my attention to? Someone said the "blend door actuator". Only problem is that when attemating to price it online I couldn't find it for a 1994 ES or Toyota Camry. Any suggestions @wmj259 ?

That is what I was leading towards,.

If you can feel the heat to your feet but not windshield when you set the unit to feet/windshield combo, my assumption would be the vent door flap is not closing/sealing/operating correctly.
I cant say having low antifreeze could be causing this problem, but I would caution having a lot of antifreeze in the hoses may cause the antifreeze hose to burst if the fluid doesn't get released into the overflow reservoir.

Hmm.....I don' see any leaks. As I mentioned the heater core was replaced a short time ago. I'm not hearing the blower at all when I switch the settings towards the windshield.
