3.5 piston slap, knocking tapping fixed
I thought some of you with the same or similar issue would be interested to read this.
Toyota Extra Care just replaced my shortblock at 80k miles and my cold start tapping is gone.

I can definitely tell it's a new shortblock just looking down at it, and I see all of the FIPG black gasket maker he used to seal up everything.
