My main lights (not sure the proper term) went out a few weeks ago and I replaced the bulbs with some from Advanced Auto Parts. They're not nearly as bright as the stock ones that were in before. Do I have any other choices besides to get some from the dealership? I want them as bright as possible but not HID or anything like that

 

You could try hyper whites. 9006 Sylvania Silver Star. Give those a try. I had some in my old ES300 before I went the HID route.

I thought they were a fair amount brighter than the stock ones that I had. It's much sharper than stock.

 

Does anyone else have other recommendations?

 

For normal halogen bulbs, I used Osram Nightbreakers before I switched to HID's.
