Unless I'm going completely nuts, my 2010 ES350's unlock button on the remote worked like other Lexus I've owned. Holding the unlock button down will lower all windows and open the sunroof. I tried that procedure today because my car had been sitting in the sun and I wanted to let the hot air escape. Nothing happened when I held the unlock button down except the doors unlocked.
Last week I had the recall work done along with the brake override ECU upgrade. Could that have possibly altered the setting for the unlock button? I did check the user changeable options available on the 2010, but didn't see anything relating to the windows down function.
^^^^Correct, it's an LPS (Lexus Personalized Setting) set by the dealer. The dealer should have given the OP a Sheet of all LPS settings when he picked up the car. The settings are usually changed by the dealer at the 1K mile mark for no charge.
Guys, thanks for your responses. That's the same info I received from my dealer. Remembering that I used that feature on my ES before was just another senior moment. Those moments seem to occur much too frequently. I'd better hide my driver's license so it doesn't get taken away.
