Hi All,

Just picked up this ES300 a couple of weeks ago with 70K miles on it.

When starting sometimes it takes, 2, 3 or more tries to get the car to start, and then I have to let it rev for longer than you would think. Is this typical, is there a possible problem with the starter?

Sounds like an issue with an IAC valve (Idle Air Control). They are prone to getting clogged with carbon.
