I got them. I put up a great poll thing in the Lighting Forum but I'll give you the shake down here
warden_jp2002 is the ebay vendor that I just purchased my LED lights from. Many others have recommended me to him for great quality lights and fast delivery.
The bulbs you are looking for are 194s. There are 2 different types I ordered. The first type is THIS, which I am using for my door lights. The second type is THIS, which I am using for my license plate lights. I don't know if there is a difference between my 1996 ES vs everyones elses but the bulbs I bought should give you an idea of how mine are positioned in each housing.
I hope that helps man

Tip: The sockets for the licence plate lights inside the taillight assemblies are angled outward, so you want LEDs that throw light to the sides more than out the end otherwise they won't illuminate your plate very well at all.
I bought "cool white" WLED-x6 LEDs for my licence plate lights and "cool white" WLED-WHP LEDs for my door lights from Superbrightleds.com

The licence plate lights, interior trunk light, and door lights are all #168 or #194 (same thing).

I have the remaining bulbs on order currently, waiting for shipping. Will update my thread once they come in.
The car this year will have a FULL LED interior
And FYI, there is no 'number' its a fuse style LED, that is ~31mm in length. I bought 8 of these things off eBay since I'm doing an RX330 retrofit and they cost me close to 20$ alone...

A few of those go against what the manual states. Don't get me wrong, its an awesome resource, as a 'general idea', not something i rely on on completely.
And it doesn't mention the vanity mirror bulbs at all, and as an example it states the 2001 Lexus ES300 uses a #37 bulb in the glove box - false; its actually a #74 just to mention one...
But for the ES300 it isn't 100% accurate [from experience...] for some reason.
