If I turn the headlamps (HID's) on in manual mode and then I turn the car off without putting the swtich back to Auto or Off, will the headlamps shut off after a period of time as if they were in Auto mode? How is this period set?

 

Yes, they will turn off automatically, 30 seconds after the last door is closed, or, immediately, when the lock button on the remote is pressed. I do not believe the 30 second delay can be changed.

 

On my '08 ES350 I had the delay changed to no delay. My garage lights come on automatically so I don't need the headlights to stay on.
