Blown Subwoofer
So after 190,000 miles, my 97 es subwoofer finally decided to blow
Looks like it couldnt handle kanye west at half volume
Anyway, I know aftermarket audio assemblies have been discussed in length, but I'm not looking to replace the whole system. I simply want to purchase a decent subwoofer that can work with the existing amp. Can anyone suggest any subs that would work and fit in the existing sub enclosure. I believe the factory sub is an 8" Pioneer.

I'm a huge fan of Infinity products. They have a 10" free air sub out that has an excellent sound, and I you should have no problem running this off of the stock system..

hey Infin1ty, even tho the stock assembly is 8", there wont be a problem fitting a 10" sub? And I notice that sub has an selectable ohm 2-8, which would I use? 2 I'm assuming?
