Getting 2000es going again
Hello Team,
Just want to make sure Im good to go. My es has been in a garage since the end of Aug with no one using it. It had an oil change a couple weeks before it was stored and I dis connected the battery before I left it.
Should I be able to go home put the battery on and start it up, or should I do more?

-Check all the fluids.
-Check for rodents under the hood and damaged wiring.
-If you didn't put in a fuel stabilizer, top off the tank with fresh gas before starting.
-Fill up the tires with air. If you didn't move the car at all during that period and didn't inflate the tires a little high then they may be flat-spotted. You can do this after you've started the car, however, if the tires aren't terribly low.
-When starting, blip the starter several times before actually letting it start to allow oil to flow to the bearings.
-Take it easy when you are driving the car for the first time, and drive for at least 30 minutes, including at least 20 minutes on the highway after you have topped off the tires and added fresh gas to boil off moisture from the oil.
Of course, these are just my personal recommendations. You did your car a good service by changing the oil before you stored it.
