Cheap Mods?
Is there any cheap mods that i can do to my 99 ES? Im gettin tired of seein a stock car outside. When i say cheap mods i mean cheap becasue im 16 with no job so im talkin sub $100. There prolly isnt much but anything i can do to add a little flare? I might just sell it and get an integra GSR or Prelude like i originally wanted....but i do like the comfort of this car so i dont know yet.
if i were you id sell.. because theres no point in having a lexus if your not gonna spend $$$ most of the stuff is really expensive to mod the ES... im only 20 but 16 is really young, start off with an integra, their good cars to mod for cheap... i started off with a civic and modded that to ****s so now i know what NOT to do with my ES.. and the resale of a lex is much higher so your gonna have some extra cash to spend on another car
About what RawGin said about having to spend lots of cash, eh... yeah, sorta. Theres a lot you can do with <$100.
Ahem..
homemade intake, $40~$60
Removing the amber filter from your lights(clearing), FREE!
Complete LED light conversion. round $10 or $15
Paint something, a large can of Dupli-color paint costs less than $5.
eBay HID kit, $60
The list is pretty long, just use your imagination.

I own a 92 Prelude, modded with body kit and engine to about 210 hp. Definitely more fun to drive than the ES. At your age, you would enjoy the Honda or Acura alot more.
Mods for the Lexus are pretty costly, tasteful mods that is.

i would say NO to hondas. Your ES is definitely light years ahead.
But if you like that high revving experience in an econobox, then by all means go for the honda
As for cheap mods, well i would just tint the car and call it a day

Dont put on your 7-color underbody kit. Sell it to spend more money on something that isnt extremely stupid such as those. Sorry to sound rude, but come on. I just dont want to see people laugh at you.
Haha i dont think im puttin it on. My mom said she sould give me what i payed for them just to get rid of them because she thinks i will look like a ***(no offense to anyone) driving around with them.
