Default Transmission issue - Update

Picked up car today from dealer after value body and gasket replacement. Driving to airport first thing in the AM, (low of 35 tonight) any bets on slippage in the morning ??

So, how much is the value of the body? Did you read my last post in RPM spike thread? My dealership is not convinced the valve body change will fix the problem. So, they are going to keep my car for a couple of days to confirm the fix. If it still there, the whole tranny going to be replaced.

kilo...,

While I hope your car is fine, I'll bet it slips and maybe not in am but it will.

I hope I bet wrong but don't think I did.

Sorry man, I'm usually full of wise cracks, but I mean no harm I really hope the problem in your case is fixed. If not, demand full tranny replacement. Also, make sure your warranty upgraded to 100k (its actually official from Lexus factory, not an option from your dealer).

I hope its fixed. But I'm about to post in the RPM Spike thread what my story is on this. But I hope - really hope - your car is fixed.

Twister - please do advise. Are the warranty extensions bumper-to-bumper comprehensive type, or is it just a drivetrain extension? Is this available to everyone who just has the TSIB done, or its only available on trans replacements?
