Big problem
Ok, first I would like to say for the most part I am not stupid, however I bought a battery for my car and allowed my father to help me install it. He placed the cables on in a reverse order !!!!! ouch, just opening the drivers door blew several fuses, trying to start the car was a huge mistake. Now I have checked all the fuses and replaced the computer with a used replacement and my mechanic has checked ever ground and other part he knows, It will turn over and the devices in the car work, lights windows and etc. however there is no fire to the plugs and the fuel pump doesn't kick in. Any help would be great thanks in advance Nathan
EFI fuse is out, EFI main relay is out. Probably one, the other, or both.
Turn the key to the ON position & take the EFI fuse out. Test for continuity on one terminal or the other.
If you have continuity, replace the fuse, unbolt the fuse/relay box & take it apart (the plastic box is two pieces, simple snaps hold it on). Test for continuity/ that the EFI main relay is working.
Don't worry, in self defense, claim the battery cables are the reverse of domestic cars.
