I have an 05 IS that had the alternator fuse go out last week. I replaced it with one from NAPA and everything seemed to work fine. 3 days later the car lost power and I realized the fuse box had begun to melt. Looks like a short to me but have no clue where it's coming from. The fuse I replaced was properly secured and there was nothing loose. Before the fuse blew out, car worked fine. Not sure what could have gone wrong. Anyone share a similar experience? I did a search and couldn't find someone that had a successful outcome. Any help and insight is greatly appreciated... TIA
