Tailight swap
Will 95-96 tailights fit in a 92 es? The styling is only slightly different but are they atttached to the car differently. I assume they will work out. I am thinking about buying newer tails off of ebay because they are much better looking than the 92 tails, especially when cleared out.

Here's what I did (and I found the answer in only a couple sec):https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=86083
BizNaz is right on his assumption
i have read that thread but it doesnt quite answer my question, Yes I understand the difference. but do we know for sure if they fit(bolts)? if noone knows I will contact a lexus dealership. Thanks for the help.
Don't quote me on this, but if you were to put '95-'96 ES tails into your '92 (even if all the bolts are in the right locations), there would be a small gap/hole on the left and right sides of the license plate, due to the tailights being slightly less longer dimensional-wise than the '92 tailights. You're more than welcome to call the dealership and find out for sure.

i did this swap on saturday, you need to cut into the body becuase the key cylinder is 1/2" - 3/4" off, you need to move the lock cylinder over and drill a new hole for the pop rod to fit into the cylinder
